Package Overview
Pagsanjan is a second class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 42,164 people.[3] It is situated about 92 kilometres (57 mi) southeast of Manila.

Pagsanjan is the tourist capital of Laguna and the home of the Bangkero Festival. The bangkeros are tour guides, who steer the tourists' boats. They are the boatmen who shoot the 14 rapids between rocks and boulders all the way to the Pagsanjan Falls (or Magdapio Falls), for which the town is well known but are actually located in the neighboring municipality of Cavinti. The Bangkero Festival is celebrated in the month of March.

Drive along sleek Ayala Avenue, the financial and commercial center of Makati then to the city of Manila, the country's capital. Arrive at the Rizal Park, named in the honor of our National hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. After a picture stop, proceed to Intramuros (Walled City) to see the remnants of Spain's Conquistadores. Travel through the cobbled streets to San Agustin Church (oldest stone church in the country) and have a close look at its external and internal architectural design. Across San Agustin Church is Casa Manila, a reproduction of a 19th century house equipped with Oriental and European décor, as well as Philippine antique furniture. The tour ends at Fort Santiago, an old fortress which has been transformed into landscaped park and inside a museum. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Manila.

Upon arrival, be prepared to board a dug-out canoe, manned by 2 able boatmen for an upstream ride to the falls through rock and boulders amidst steep gorges and tropical vegetation. Spend some time in the falls or you may opt for a bamboo-raft ride to experience the pounding of water coming from 70ft. above. Your return trip is another exciting experience as you "shoot the rapids" - going downstream with your boatmen, maneuvering the canoe between rocks and boulders until you reach the calm river of Pagsanjan.
